Compressed air users now have a cost effective option for clients when they are faced with an air dryer failure. A large fleet of high capacity air dryers is now available for medium and long term hire.
Refrigeration air dryers with capacities from 1 to 110 m³/min (3900 cfm) are available at short notice and competitive rates.
Traditionally clients who found themselves facing this problem, would only be able to hire a number of small capacity chemical dryers from a traditional hire fleet service provider. This often meant hiring 4 or 5 units suffering the purge air wastage associated with chemical adsorption air drying and paying per shift hire rates. The solution is expensive not only in compressed air purge wastage, but also in hire fees.
Artic Driers has the ability to provide medium and large capacity refrigeration air dryers to solve this immediate air quality problem. With a rental unit in place clients can plan long term air treatment strategy without the immediate pressure of contaminated air infecting their airlines says Allen Cockfield CEO of Artic Driers.
The system is geared towards long term hire for clients who operate standard stationary compressor sets and that operate within a radius of 300 km of Johannesburg, and generally require hire periods of a month or more.
Rates are competitive and are based on 24/7 usage. In the event of a client deciding to purchase a new dryer from Artic, a hire rental rebate system can apply, this further reduces the cost impact of a catastrophic air dryer failure and provides for an orderly approval of capital purchase funds and re-allocation of budgets to provide for a new dryer purchase, says Cockfield.
Service crews maintain the units and perform on site inspections of hire units thereby ensuring constant dryer up time. Artic is also able to provide dew point monitors with data logging facilities to provide clients with peace of mind that air quality is constantly monitored and maintained, and that should faults occur that an alarm signal is generated to the client and Artic simultaneously.
iA small fleet of large capacity heatless adsorption dryers is also available for the clients that require really low dew point air for specialized applications. Artic routinely stocks the PSK range of heatless adsorption dryers with capacities up to > 10m³/min and with a -40 °C capability. Larger units are available against a firm client order. All PSK units are manufactured to ASME codes and are SANS 347 approved as well.
Service and Air Audits
Artic maintains a full-time aftercare service department with a fully equipped workshop. A compressed air audit department provides data to clients on flow, pressure, velocity, dew point, as well as power. Leak detection surveys are also undertaken.
