The Sahara Series of heatless adsorption air dryers are manufactured by Artic Driers in South Africa to international standards. With a design Dew Point of -40 °C, the dryer is designed to be desiccant rich with low internal velocities and long contact times to ensure the Dew Point performance is easily reached.

Design
The locally manufactured heatless desiccant dryer is brilliantly simple comprising of two shuttle valves and two depressurization pneumatic angle seat valves ensuring reliable effective operation.
Controls
The 220/1/50 Hz panel of the Sahara series is again simple and reliable. This desiccant dryer working control timer sequence is adjustable. Electrical panels are supplied to IP23 or IP65. Dew point control is optional to reduce purge loss.
Rating conditions are 38 °C inlet temperature, 6.9 barG inlet pressure, 100% relative humidity, 38 °C ambient temperature.
Standard voltage id 220 ~ 240 V / 50 ~ 60Hz.
Maximum operating pressure is 12 barG, and maximum inlet temperature is 45 °C.
