Is compressed air quality an issue in your organization? Compressed air quality is a frequently neglected topic. But contaminated compressed air is almost as bad as no compressed air.
Two products offer solutions to these air quality problems, SUTO iTEC and the CDK range of refrigeration dryers.
Needing to know more about your compressed air consumption? We have abroad range of instrumentation focused on compressed air and gas monitoring for volume, pressure, power consumption and compressed air quality from SUTO iTEC.
This wide variety of compressed air flow monitoring equipment is suitable for pipelines from 15 mm to > 400 mm and compatible with most gases with pressures from vacuum to over 40 bar G.
Adding an S331 data logger, SUTO can provide plant operators and managers instant access to all the parameters, flow, pressure, dew point, temperature, power consumption, oil vapor content as well as particle content. When coupled to the local S331 it provides the same data to a central management system within your plant. Data transfer from the S331 to a USB stick is provided.
These SUTO iTEC products give an instant overview of your production line’s consumption and quality parameters, making benchmarking consumption and compressed air quality simple.
Air leaks causing production cost issues? Artic Driers International, SUTO iTEC’s Southern Africa Distributor, offers an Ultrasonic leak detection solution. The reporting software provides immediate data on the cost of compressed air wastage, along with the volume of air being lost to the atmosphere. Results are provided in PDF and Excel format that allow you to plan rectification programs. Artic offers this equipment for sale, or hire with one of our technicians.
Is compressed air quality a problem? The SUTO iTEC S600 certified mobile Air Quality System has the solution measuring dew point, airborne particle sizes as well as oil vapor carryover. It automatically creates a PDF report and rates your test results against the ISO standard without any input requirements from an operator. Air quality reports are generated before Artic leaves your site. This is exceptionally useful for QA and facility managers alike.
CDK Air Dryers
Artic offers a range of CDK Refrigeration Air Driers from “Dryers International Thailand” (DIT). The build standard and specifications are to a high standard, the stainless steel plate-plate heat exchangers provide constant dew point under a wide range of air flows. A feature that is not as common as one would think. Recently Artic has measured a range of air dryers dew points under different operational flow rates. CDK series provide consistent dew point under a wide range of flow rates.
CDK Material selection protects your plant. Larger models have multiple heat exchangers, in these units, the inlet and outlet pipe galleries are manufactured from Stainless Steel, making it ideal for use with oil free compressors. Oil-free compressors generate condensates with a very low PH value that quickly corrode any mild steel pipework or inlet/outlet headers. The inlet and outlet of a single exchanger on smaller CDK dryers are also Stainless Steel.
Mild steel headers and heat exchanger construction are not the preferred construction materials for any air dryer, invariably the material or coating shed release debris into the after-filter-release factories or the factories’ pipeline system.
Accurate Controls. CDK dryers have comprehensive instrumentation and control, with the ability to monitor all parameters. Such as inlet compressed air temperature, dew point temperature, air/gas temperatures, and ambient to mention a few of the controllers’ features.
Power Outagescreating re-start problems. CDK units re-start automatically on resumption of power, and is based on as adjustable re-strat time. The dew point set point is also adjustable from the controller. These features amongst many others, are password-protected to prevent unauthorized changes to the dryers’ settings.
Huge range of ex-stock filter casings. Artic Driers provides a huge range of imported and locally produced air filter housings that can hold different grades of filter elements to suit any client’s requirements. Locally produced filter casings are SANS pressure-coded and are coated to resist interior and exterior corrosion. All the element fixings are stainless steel. Artic Carry stock with capacities up to 150 m³/min.
Leaders in the compressed air treatment business for over 3 decades, Artic Driers has an exceptional range of equipment, along with the in-house manufacturing capabilities it makes Artic Driers a “Preferred Supplier” to solve your compressed air problems. With our large stock holding we rarely disappoint.
